Saint Patrick’s Day, or Lá Fhéile Pádraig in Irish, is a national holiday in Ireland and a bank holiday in Northern Ireland. Celebrated on March 17, it is an annual festival of the patron Saint Patrick of Ireland and the anniversary of his death in the fifth century.

St. Patrick's Day falls during the Christian season of Lent. Irish families traditionally attend a church service in the morning and celebrate the festivities in the afternoon. It is a great way to celebrate everything Irish for all – both the Irish and the non-Irish -- as everybody is Irish on March 17.
