Eminem is back and after a drug addiction, divorce, losing a best friend, and an album that some may call a weak come back, one of the best hip hop lyricist in hip hop is back on top of his game. The appropriately named Recovery sees Eminem lyrically dismantle his critics without any interruptions.

There are no comedic skits and no bad accents like previous albums. Eminem created this album to be a classic, and, argumentatively, he did just that.

Cold Wind Blows and Talking 2 Myself

The first song on the album, “Cold Wind Blows”, uncharacteristically starts with Eminem singing about “Just why (he) came back again, (he) hate the fame, love the game”. The rapper instantly reintroduces himself to his familiar fans that have heard his songs about being tormented by his fame as well as introducing new fans to this conflicted character.
